Hawaii’s Governor, Josh Green, has verified that the intense wildfires that commenced on August 8 have tragically claimed the lives of 93 individuals.

Despite an alarming increase from 80 to 93 fatalities within a single day, Governor Green expressed skepticism about the death toll stabilizing in the upcoming days. While acknowledging the challenges faced, he commended the exceptional efforts of fire crews and law enforcement.

Governor Green anticipated that the number of casualties would persistently climb, urging people to prepare for this unfortunate reality during a press briefing held on Saturday.
